French Ligue 1 side Auxerre have signed Gideon Mensah in a a three-year contract from Austrian outfit Red Bull Salzburg.
The 24-year-old was officially introduced to the fans of the club on Friday, after passing his medical.
“Auxerre are pleased to announce the arrival of Gideon Mensah from Red Bull Salzburg,” the club confirmed on their official website.
“International on 11 occasions, he was notably part of the selection of the Black Stars during the 2021 African Cup of Nations.”
He’s had stint with Salzburg, Bordeaux, and Vitoria Guimaraes following his transfer to Red Bull Salzburg in 2017.
