After winning Heat 2 on Day 2 of the World Relays in the Bahamas, Ghana’s men’s 4x100m relay team has earned a spot in the Olympic Games in Paris.
On the first day of competition, Ibrahim Fuseini, Isaac Botsio, Benjamin Azamati, and Joseph Paul Amoah were the quartet that had to face disappointment after relinquishing their baton.
Given another chance to atone for the earlier error, Ghana won with a season-best time of 38.29 seconds.
The relay team is the first group of Ghanaian athletes to guarantee their spot in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
