Ghanaian quartet to officiate FIFA U17 World Cup qualifier between Uganda vs Zambia

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed four female Ghanaian referees to officiate the FIFA U-17 World Cup qualifier between Uganda and Zambia on Friday, May 17, 2024.

Juliet Appiah, who was in Saudi Arabia for the three-day FIFA Referees Workshop organised by the Saudi Arabia Football Federation (SAFF), will be at the heart of affairs for the game.

She will be ably assisted by compatriots Mary Tei as assistant 1, Patricia Kyeraa as assistant 2, and Salifu Chisu Barikisu as the fourth official.

Ntebogang Tsietsi from Botswana will serve as the match commissioner, while Lidya Tafesse Abebe from Ethiopia will be the referee’s assessor.

The match is scheduled to be played at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kampala, on Friday, May 17, 2024.
