Irene Asare a highly experienced credible international Human Resources expert, who founded CarvinClay People Development has been announced as BBC news Board HR Director.

Madam Irene Asare is a dynamic highly effective global business executive with a strong desire for business transformation, organizational change and effectiveness. She has over 20 years’ experience in transforming performance, leadership and culture, costs and operational excellence. She is founder of the CarvinClay People Development Limited, a leadership development company that moulds professionals for the future of work.

She has also founded a HR Mentorship programme, where HR professionals get rigorous mentorship to enhance their understanding of the field. Her industry knowledge spans across Oil & Gas, Telecoms, Banking, Services, Transport and Retail, in both matured and emerging markets.

Irene Asare has worked for some of the best international companies, like Vodafone, Standard Bank and Tullow Oil.
Irene successfully ran the business services function, for the largest oil and gas operator in Ghana. She was accountable for HR, Admin, IS, Facilities and office services and continuous improvement. Under her leadership; she saw significant reduction of costs, improved employee engagement and productivity as well as the streamlining and restructuring of teams. She also saw improved governance processes and assisted in the resetting of organizational strategy.
