The Black Satellites secured a final berth in the on going AFCON U-20 after defeating Gambia 1-0 in the first semifinal game played at the Olympic stadium on Monday.
It was a story of sweet revenge for the Ghanaians, who had early on succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to the Gambians in the final group game.
Thanks to that victory, the Gambians earned an automatic spot in the quarter finals, with Ghana dropping to third but squeezing through as one of the best two third placed teams.
After dispatching their opponents in the quarter final stage of the competition, the two teams booked a repeat or revenge date at the semi-final stage of the competition.
A stunning free-kick goal scored by Percious Boah handed the Ghana U-20 team a precious victory over the Gambians.
It was the third goal of the tournament for the Dreams FC striker, who currently leads the goal king chart.
Ghana who are playing in the tournament for the 12th time are seeking to clinch a fourth African Under-20 title.
