The Ghana National Gas Company has served notice that the Atuabo Gas Processing Plant will be shut down for routine maintenance.

According to a press statement released on Friday, the plant will be shut down from October 4th to 18th October, 2021 and is to allow the team of engineers to undertake a planned routine maintenance on the facility to help improve the plant’s capacity, as well as prolong its lifespan.

This outage is consistent with other shutdowns planned by its upstream and downstream partners.
