GFA

The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association has announced the dismissal of Division One side, Nzema Kotoko’s protest against Future Stars FC.

The decision comes after Nzema Kotoko protested against Future Stars in their division one encounter at the Ejisu Okese park for fielding an unqualified official.

The Disciplinary Committee however found that per the reports of the Match Officials, an unselected player of Future Stars who was found in the inner perimeter and was walked out by the fourth referee cannot be deemed as an unqualified official.

Rather the DC ruled that the GFA Prosecutor should charge the unselected player for misconduct.

There was no award of costs in favour of Future Stars FC.

Meanwhile the GFA DC is expected to meet this week to adjudicate on the following protest cases:

  • Pearl Pia Ladies vs Northern Ladies
  • Samartex FC vs Achiken FC
  • Achiken FC vs Samartex
  • BYFA vs New Edubiase FC
  • Wassaman FC vs Baseke Holy Stars
The Disciplinary Committee will also adjudicate on a number of misconduct cases.
