Ghana Football Association (GFA) technical director, Bernhard Lippert has said he will need more time to understand the country’s football identity.
The 56-year-old German was appointed by the GFA in October last year to head the technical aspect of Ghana football.
He was given a two-year deal to replace veteran, Francis Oti Akenteng who had been released by the FA.
Speaking to Asempa fm, Lippert pleaded for more time to execute plans he has for Ghana football.
”There is always an expectation. The job of a technical director is not done in three months or in one year First of all, you have to make an assessment to see where we are, It is not easy. You have to find the identity of the football in Ghana, what will make the football strong here”.
The German recently shared his thoughts on Ghana’s U17 underwhelming outing at the sub-regional tournament in Togo.
