The Ghana Football Association has announced that the Black Stars will depart Accra for Kumasi on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 to begin preparation for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 playoff first leg tie against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Ghana will need to wrestle past West African rival, Nigeria for a spot in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World at Kumasi Sports stadium on Friday.
The Senior National team would be aiming to appease their fans by earning a fourth World Cup appearance after a disappointing elimination from the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.
Ghana have qualified for three FIFA World Cup tournaments; 2006, 2010, and 2014.
Whereas, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will be hoping to qualify for the global football showpiece for the seventh time and, since 1994, have missed only one of seven editions.
