Patrick Kumor, the former Weija-Gbawe Municipal Chief Executive Officer, reportedly passed away.

A brief illness preceded his death. He was one of the 25 MCEs whose appointments were recently revoked by President Nana Akufo-Addo.

Mr. Kumor was succeeded in his role by Mr. Michael Danquah.

Mr. Kumor started a lot of projects in the Municipality during his time there.

Mr. Kumor received the UCIA 2022 Dynamic Achievers Award for Excellence in Leadership in December of 2022.

The Global Executive College (GEC) gave Hon. Kumor (MCE) the award at the British Council Hall.
