The first pricing window, which begins in April 2024, is expected to see a continuation of fuel prices at petrol stations across the nation.
The Chamber of Petroleum Consumers (COPEC) has projected that the first pricing window for April will start at GH¢13.41 for a litre of gasoline, “barring any universal changes in Petroleum prices of $874.09/MT for petrol and $835.64/MT for diesel and LPG $627.30/MT with a corresponding Dollar: Cedi rate of 1:13.0555.”
Additionally, a gallon of diesel will cost GH¢13.91, while a kilogramme of LPG will cost GH¢14.20.
Further, COPEC predicted that while diesel and LPG prices are anticipated to remain stable, petrol prices would likely rise during the second pricing window.
