The Super Eagles of Nigeria have named a provisional 32-man squad to face Ghana in their 2022 World Cup playoff clash on the 25th of March at the Cape Coast Stadium.
The two West African giants will battle it out for a spot in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World. Nigeria will be hoping to qualify for the global football showpiece for the seventh time. They have, since 1994, missed only one of seven editions.
Ghana would be aiming to appease their fans by earning a fourth World Cup appearance after a disappointing elimination from the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.

The Super Eagles squad for the two-legged tie also includes top players Moses Simon of French side Nantes, Leicester City duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho, Napoli star Victor Osimhen and Saudi-based Odion Ighalo.
Captain Ahmed Musa and his deputy William Ekong were also included but there was no place in the team for Everton youngster Alex Iwobi who is suspended for the two matches.
Several players were put on the Super Eagles’ standby list for the two matches this month including forwards Taiwo Awoniyi, Peter Olayinka and defender Chidozie Awaziem who were part of the squad at the recent Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Nigeria will open their training camp in the city of Abuja on 21 March before they travel to Cape Coast four days later to take on the Black Stars.
The reverse encounter is scheduled at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja at 17:00GMT.
The match is scheduled for 19:00Hrs kick off at the Cape Coast Stadium.
