The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifications saw the Black Princesses come back from behind to defeat Eswatini 6:1 in the first leg of the third round.
Due to a defensive blunder, Ghana conceded early in the fifth minute as the opposition pushed the ball past Afi Amenyaku.
Ghana equalized in the tenth minute when Mercy Attobra headed Beline Nyarko’s cross into the upper right corner.
Beline Nyarko nearly put the Princesses ahead, but the attacker did not take advantage of her opportunity. Nyarko, on the other hand, connected well with Hellen Alormenu’s excellent in the 28th minute and made no mistakes.
Ghana led 2-1 at halftime, and the Black Princesses were still in complete control of the ball in midfield and attack.
The Black Princesses’ advantage was increased by Wasiima Mohammed’s incredible strike at the edge of the 18-yard box in the 49th minute, and in the 59th, Success Ameyaa set up Sarah Nyarko for the team’s fourth goal.
In the last moments of play, Mercy Attobra used her brace to give the Black Princesses a 6:1 victory.
