The Ghana Football Association (GFA), is engaging the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), on the media capacity training programme for members.
This is in line with the bigger vision of the GFA to train members of the sports media in the work of the Association and its competitions as well as to improve relationship with industry players.
It will be recalled that the GFA in June, 2020, made an allocation of Seven Thousand dollars ($7,000) for media capacity building through the FIFA/CAF Covid-19 Relief Funds.
In a letter addressed to SWAG General Secretary Charles Osei Asibey on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, the GFA sought to engage SWAG and agree on format of the programme, dates and venues for the training (including Accra and Kumasi).
The GFA will in the coming days furnish the public with details of the training programme.
