Asante Kotoko deputy skipper Emmanuel Gyamfi’s brace was the difference on the day as the Porcupine Warriors defeated Ebusua Dwarfs 2-1 in match week 24 played at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.

The win ensured Kotoko extended their lead at the top of the table as they have now accumulated 44 points with 10 matches to end the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.

Mariano Barreto’s side trailed midway through the first half after a powerful strike by Dennis Korsah-Akoumah from distance.

Kotoko responded getting an equalizer through Emmanuel Gyamfi right on the stroke of half time.
The captain was at hand again in the second half, this time benefiting from a goalkeeping error to slot home the winner.

The Porcupine Warriors have now won three games on the bounce after defeating the Cape Coast outfit.
