German Giants, Borussia Dortmund has given Coach Otto Addo the greenlight to continue as Ghana’s Senior National team interim Coach.
The gaffer’s agreement will see him serve as the Black stars interim Coach beyond the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
Otto Addo, a former Black stars player was appointed together with Chris Hughton, George Boateng and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani to oversee Ghana’s dicey FIFA World Cup Qatar play offs against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in February.
The quartet secured a place a spot at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, after beating West African rivals, Nigeria on away goals in March.
The President Nana Akufo-Addo subsequently called on the GFA to keep the current technical team for the upcoming FIFA World Cup following their qualification.
The former Dortmund midfielder confirmed this news to Hamburger Abdenblatt Podcast in an interview:
“I got permission from Dortmund. Under certain conditions, it works out that I can do the international game phases in June, September and also the World Cup,” he revealed.
