Division One League club Samatex have announced Kobina Amissah as their new head coach, few weeks after his departure from Bibiani GoldStars.

The club made the announcement on their official twitter handle on Tuesday morning.

The former Bibiani GoldStars gaffer who steered the club to book a qualification from Division One League replaces Bismark Kobby Mensah, who is the new coach of Karela United.

Coach Amissah is an expert of second tier championship, having guided four teams to the top-flight.

Before Bibiani GoldStars, he had qualified Berekum Chelsea, Sekondi Hasaacas and Elmina Sharks to top flight league football.

Samartex finished third in Zone II of the Division One League.
