Leicester City defender Daniel Amartey has won the English FA Cup after his side’s historic win over Chelsea in the FA Cup Final.

The Ghana international was an unused substitute as the Foxes overcame Thomas Tuchel’s Blues in his club’s first ever FA Cup triumph.

In a cagey encounter, Youri Tielemans scored the lone goal as The Foxes secured a 1-0 triumph at Wembley.
Amartey has now won two trophies at Leicester after he also lifted the 2016 English Premier League title six months after signing for the Foxes.

Daniel Amartey becomes the 3rd Ghanaian player to win FA Cup title after Michael Essien, and Sulley Muntari.

Amartey has been named in Ghana’s 30-man squad for upcoming friendly internationals against Morocco and Cote d’Ivoire, his first call-up since 2018.
