Ghana’s Female U20 team, the Black Princesses have moved straight to the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram to continue preparation for the final round of qualifiers for 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The Black Princesses cruised into the final round of qualifiers for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup as they progressed on a 7-1 aggregate scoreline over the Ugandans.
Ghana will now slug it out with last standing CECAFA representatives Ethiopia for a ticket to Costa Rica.
The first leg fixture is scheduled for March 12, in Addis Ababa with the second leg tie fixed for March 26, 2022 in Ghana.
Two African representatives will emerge from the final round of the African qualifiers with the other slot to be decided between Senegal and Nigeria.
Ghana are chasing a record sixth straight FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup participation. The Black Princesses made their first World Cup appearance in 2010 and have gone ahead to play in four tournaments on the spin. (2010, 2012,2014, 2016, 2018).
