Ghana winger Christian Atsu has secured a move to Saudi club Al Raed in a two-year deal.
The 29-year-old left Newcastle United at the end of the 2020-21 campaign making him a free agent after being frozen out of the Magpies first-team last season.
Atsu’s club woes meant he has had to take time away from international duty with Ghana, having last represented his country in 2019.
At Raed, Atsu will look to reignite his career with hope to rejoin the Black Stars who have set their sights on a first title since 1982.
His last appearance for Ghana came at the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt in 2019.
