Rwandan Referee Samuel Uwikunda has been announced to officiate Ghana’s Black Galaxies, African Nations Championship (CHAN) quarterfinals match against Niger on Saturday.
Referee Samuel Uwikunda will be assisted by Hensley Danny Petrousse from Seychelles and Dieudonne Mutuyimana also from Rwanda.
Fourth Official for the game is Abongile Tom from South Africa and Cameroon’s Rodrigue Menye Mpele as reserve assistant referee.
Boussairi Boujlel from Tunisia is the Match Commissioner with Mustapha Slaoui from Morocco as General Coordinator.
Ghana set up a last eight encounter with Niger following a second place finish in Group C with 6 points – three points behind Madagacar who topped the group with 9 points.
Niger, secured a ticket for the quarter-final of the 2022 TotalEnergies African Nations championship (CHAN) after a shock 1-0 win over Cameroon on Tuesday.
They finished top of Group E ahead of Cameroon and Congo advancing to their second ever quarter-final of the tournament.
Kick off at 8:00pm (7:00pm GMT) at the Complexe Olympique d’Oran, Oran on Saturday.
