Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC lifted the Champion of Champions trophy at the Cape Coast stadium on Sunday following a well-deserved 2-1 victory over Dreams FC.
Jonathan Sowah who recently earned a call-up into the Black Stars squad scored a brace to seal victory for the Mauves and Yellow lads.
Sowah put the Premier League champions ahead inside 19 minutes with a fine finish.
The former Danbort FC striker doubled the lead for Medeama SC after scoring an absolute beauty from the edge of the box.
Substitute Agyenim Boateng Mensah converted a penalty kick in the 79th minute to reduce the deficit but the goal wasn’t enough to throw the game into extra time as Medeama SC held on to win the game.
