The Confederation of African Football has announced the re-opening of bids for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations 2025.
The decision by CAF was taken on on Saturday 1 October 2022 in Algiers when CAF’s Executive Committee (“EXCO”) met.
”The Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”) Executive Committee (“EXCO”) met on Saturday 1 October 2022 in Algiers, Algeria and announced the re-opening of bids for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations 2025” a statement from CAF reveals.
This comes after Guinea was stripped of hosting rights for being insufficiently prepared.
CAF also wished Senegal, Tunisia, Ghana, Morocco and Cameroon all of the best in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Tournament.
