Ghana’s CAF Confederation Cup representative, Dreams FC lost 2-0 to Tunisia’s Club Africain at the Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi in Radès on Sunday.
From the first blast of the whistle, the Tunisians dominated their opponents from West Africa, taking the lead early on thanks to goals from Tayeb Meziani in the fifth and Kingsley Eduwo in the nineteenth.
Soon after halftime, captain Abdul Jalilu was given a second caution and a red card, adding insult to injury for Dreams.
Next week, Dreams will get a chance of redemption at home in an intriguing match against Nigeria’s Rivers United, while the Tunisians will play Academica do Lobito in Angola.
