Black Princesses’ skipper Evelyn Badu has been adjusted CAF’s Young Player of the Year (Women) at the highly-anticipated CAF Awards 2022 ceremony.

The talented forward beat stiff opposition from former Hasaacas Ladies compatriot Doris Boaduwaa and Yasmine Zouhir of Morocco in the Awards Gala on Thursday, in Rabat, Morocco.

Badu who recently joined Alvaldsnes was named Interclub Player of the Year (Women) award.

The former Hasaacas Ladies player was immensely instrumental for the Sekondi based Ladies Club in their treble wining season last year – securing the treble and finishing second in the maiden TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League.

She has been announced as the skipper for Ghana’s Female U20 side ahead of the FIFA U20 Female World in Costa Rica.
