The Senior National Team, the Black stars will be involved in a four Nation competition in June as part of preparation towards the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The tournament dubbed (Kirin Super Cup 2022) will see Ghana face countries such as Chile, Japan and Tunisia from Friday, June 10 to Tuesday, June 14, 2022. The Competition is to be hosted by Asian giant, Japan.
According to the GFA, the Black Stars will begin the tournament against Japan on Friday, June 10 while Tunisia face Chile in the other game.
On Match Day 2 – Ghana will play against Tunisia or Chile on Tuesday, June 14 regardless of the result of the match against hosts Japan.
The Black Stars are paired in Group H with Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
Ghana will face Portugal while Uruguay will play South Korea in Group H opening games.
