The Senior national team, Black Stars arrived safely in Rabat for Tuesday’s International friendly against the Atlas Lions of Morocco.
The team departed Accra on Sunday and touched down in Rabat, Monday morning with Captain Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew and Leicester City defender Daniel Amartey leading the squad for the trip.
This will be Ghana’s first game since March this year when they drew with South Africa (1-1) and defeated Sao Tome and Principe (3-1) to qualify for a record 9th straight Africa Cup of Nations tournament
Ghana will take on the Atlas Lions of Morocco on Tuesday, June 8, at the FAR Sportive stadium in Rabat before hosting the Elephants of Ivory Coast on Saturday, June 12, at the Cape Coast stadium.
Great Olympics midfielder Gladson Awako also joined the team for the trip just hours after captaining Oly Dade to a 1-1 draw with Hearts of Oak on Sunday night.
However, assistant skipper Thomas Partey, who joined the team’s camp late missed out from the rest of his teammates.
