The Black Stars of Ghana trained at the Orlando Stadium on Wednesday, ahead of their dicey clash against Ethiopia in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Group G qualifier.
Twenty four players were taken through drills by Coach Milovan Rajevac with support from Assistant Coaches Otto Addo and Maxwell Konadu. The training programme lasted for a little over one hour on Wednesday.
The Senior National team arrived in South Africa on Tuesday night for the epic clash – with an eye firmly fixed on the three points to be in contention for the single qualification slot to progress to the play offs.
Ghana will take on Ethiopia on Thursday, November 11 before facing South Africa on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at the Cape Coast stadium in Ghana.
The Black stars have nine points on the Group G table, one point below leaders South Africa, while Zimbabwe and Ethiopia occupy the fourth and third positions with one and three points respectively.
Only the group winners will qualify to the third and final round of qualifiers.
Ghana now has two matches remaining to book a ticket through to final qualification round, away to Ethiopia and at home to South Africa which they must win to guarantee a place in the next round of qualification.
