Ghana’s Senior National Women’s Football team, the Black Queens, have been invited to participate in this year’s Aisha Buhari.
The competition is being played in honor of Nigeria’s First Lady and wife of President Muhammadu Buhari.
It will take place in the country’s largest city Lagos.
Ghana will join host nation Nigeria and other African giants like Cameroon, South Africa and Morocco, as well as world champions USA for the six-nation tournament in September.
The Black Queens are expected to use the competition to prepare towards the upcoming Africa Women’s Cup of Nation’s qualifier against the Super Falcons of Nigeria in October.
