The Matchweek 12 of the 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League action between Champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Tamale City ended 1-1 at the Aliu Mahama stadium on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors drew first blood through an own goal from defender Issah Nyaabila in the 83rd minute of action. However, substitute Babamu Ibrahim capitalized on a sloppy defending from the Champions in the box to smash home the equalizer three minutes later.

The draw means the Fabulous lads will move to 3rd on the league log with 20 points – one point adrift of leaders Aduana FC and one ahead of arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak who play on Thursday.
