Accra Hearts of Oak have announced the capture of defensive midfielder Eric Esso from Obuasi based AsantiGold SC.

Eric Esso has signed a 3 years deal with the 2021/22 MTN FA Cup champions.

Esso was one of the players to have been sanctioned by the Ghana FA Disciplinary Committee following their involvement in the match-fixing scandal involving Ashantigold SC and Inter Allies.

However, a CAS ruling has granted him stay for a period of time.

The Phobians have already announced the acquisition of the likes of Junior Kaaba, Konadu Yiadom, William Bumekpor and Zakaria Yakubu for the upcoming campaign.
