On Saturday June 8, 2024 in Accra, after a nail-biting 1-0 victory over Police Ladies, Army Ladies secured the Women’s FA Cup title.

In the fifty-first minute, Deborah Opoku scored the game-winning goal, giving Army Ladies their first-ever FA Cup victory.

At the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon, both teams sold out a thrilling game.

Early in the exchanges, Police Ladies surprised everyone by putting on a strong performance in front of a sizable audience.

But five minutes into the second half, Deborah Opoku gave Army Ladies the lead with a close-range goal that turned out to be the game-winning goal.

At the University of Ghana, Army Ladies defeated their Police Ladies opponents with a masterful defensive performance.

Although both elite teams made an impression, Army Ladies emerged victorious in a compelling competition.
