Blacks stars skipper, Andre Ayew won his first trophy for Al Sadd following his side’s 5-4 penalty win over Al Rayyanin in the final of the Amir Cup on Friday.
Yaccine Brahimi scored from the spot to give Al Rayyan a first half lead.
After the break, Santi Cazorla also converted from the spot in the 57th minute to restore parity for Al Sadd.
The game went straight to penalties after 1-1 in regulations time.
Al Sadd won 5-4 on penalties to emerged victorious on the day.
Andre Ayew was substituted on the 80th minute after another impressive performance.
The former Jack Army star has registered four goals so far this season after joining the Asian Giant from Swansea City.
