Black Stars skipper, Andre Dede Ayew has spoken about his penalty miss in Ghana’s last group game against Uruguay on Friday.
The former Swansea forward missed a 21st minute penalty which proved costly as Ghana exited the 2022 FIFA World Cup Tournament following a 2-0 defeat to the South American side on Friday.
Ayew, who has a good record in penalty kicks in a post game presser accepts blame for his side’s excruciating exit from the ongoing 2022 FIFA World cup Competition.
“We had the opportunity to get to the next stage, I missed the penalty. It’s difficult to take’’ Andre Ayew told the media in a post-match interview.
‘’We did not get it right but I am very optimistic for the future.”
“I am sad but we will try and make it better’’ he added.
