Alfred Duncan has left Italian Serie A side Fiorentina for Cagliari, both clubs have announced.

The midfielder joins Cagliari in a deal lasting until the end of the season, with an option of a permanent move at the end of the spell.

“Cagliari Calcio is pleased to announce that it signed from Fiorentina the player Alfred Duncan, who moves to Sardinia on loan with an option to definitive transfer,” the statement said.

Cagliari are Duncan’s sixth club in Italy where he has played all his life.
