The regional ministers for the Upper East and Upper West were switched on Thursday by President Nana Akufo Addo.

Upper East Regional Minister, Stephen Yakubu will become Upper West Regional Minister, according to a statement signed by Eugene Arhin, the Presidency’s director of communications.

Likewise, Hafiz Bin Salih, the Regional Minister for the Upper West, will take over as the new Regional Minister for the Upper East effective immediately.

President Akufo-Addo has assigned the Ministers to work tirelessly to promote the welfare and development of the people of the Upper West and Upper East regions, respectively, as part of his ongoing efforts to ensure effective governance throughout the nation.
