President Nana Akufo Addo has handed Ghana’s sole representative in the CAF Confederation Cup competition, Accra Hearts of Oak One Million Ghana Cedis to boost their preparations ahead of their encounter with JS Saoura.
The president made the call when the Phobians paid a courtesy call on him at the Jubilee House on Tuesday.
The Rainbow club were drawn against JS Saoura after they crashed out of the CAF Champions League at the second qualifying round against Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club.
Hearts were walloped 6-2 on aggregate following a 6-1 mauling in Casablanca.
The first leg of the tie against JS Sauora is scheduled for November 28, 2021, in Accra, while the return leg is scheduled for December 5, 2021, in Algeria.
