Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah has sealed a two-year deal to Al Batin from Yeni Malatyaspor after his contract in Turkey expired at the end of the just ended season.
The 29-year-old has been playing for Turkish Super Lig club, Yeni Malatyaspor for the last two seasons, but the two parties opted to stop the association after his contract expired.
However, Acquah has now found a new home in Saudi Arabian Pro League outfit Al Batin FC where he will be expected to use his experience to help his new team.
“[Acquah] had a very good season in Turkey and the player is in great shape for this adventure,” his agent Oliver Arthur told GhanaSoccernet.
“This is new terrain with new challenges but Acquah has always risen to the occasion and so I know he can meet expectations.”
The former Torino Midfielder has featured 59 matches and scoring three goals in the past two seasons at Yeni Malatyaspor.
