Sporting Lisbon forward Abdul Fatawu Issahaku made the difference as his header earned Ghana a spot at the 2023 CAF U23 AFCON to be held in Morocco.
The Black Meteors defeated Algeria in a 2-1 aggregate win in the return leg played at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The Sporting Lisbon lad scored a sensational goal after taking a shot from the centre in the first leg which ended 1-1 in Annaba, Algeria four days ago.
This means Ghana has sealed qualification to compete for a slot to play at the 2024 Summer Olympics which will staged in Paris.
