North Africa sides Egypt and Morocco have sealed qualification for the Paris Olympics 2024.

Defending champions Egypt triumphed over Guinea following a 1-0 win at the Ibn Batouta Stadium in Tangier on Tuesday night booking a final contest with hosts Morocco.

The Moroccans booked a place in the final at the expense of Mali after a thrilling encounter prevailing in a 4-3 penalty shootout after both teams ended a 2-2 draw game in regular time.

The final of the TotalEnergies CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023 is scheduled to take place on Saturday in Rabat.

Meanwhile, Guinea and Mali will contend for the third Paris Olympic slot in the play-off on Friday in Tangier.
