AFCON 23 Qualifiers: 25 players depart Ghana for Luanda ahead of Central African Republic clash

Black Stars interim Coach has named 25 players for the Africa Cup of Nations Cote D’Ivoire 2023 Match Day II clash against Central African Republic on Sunday.

Players such as Afriyie Barnieh, Okrah and Joseph Aidoo who sustained an injury in training missed out from the list of Ghana’s contingent  travelling to Luanda.

Ghana got their 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign off to a good start following a 3-0 victory over Madagascar in Cape Coast on Wednesday night.

The Black Stars are top of the Group E table with a better goal difference, followed by Angola.

The match is scheduled for the 11 de Novembro stadium in Lunada, Angola on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
