The 2024–2025 Ghana Premier League season will officially begin on September 6, 2024, 82 days after the 2023–2024 Premier League ends on June 16, 2024.

All nine Premier League centers will host the opening games over the course of the weekend, from Friday, September 6, 2024, to Monday, September 9, 2024.

The Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) Executive Council approved the schedule for the 2024–25 football season, which led to the release of this calendar.

The new date complies with the GFA’s scheduled kick-off month and honors prior commitments made to clubs. It should be noted that the current football season (2022–24) began on the weekend of Friday, September 15, to Monday, September 18, 2023.

The league’s start date has been announced early to allow clubs, players, and other stakeholders enough time to get ready for what should be an exciting and action-packed season.
