Fans of the Phobian team, Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club, have been reassured that the team will turn around its negative trend and return stronger than before.

The club reaffirmed its commitment to attaining excellence on and off the field in a statement signed by the Accra Hearts of Oak Board and released today.

The statement is made at a time when Hearts of Oak has dropped four of its previous five games, including a 1-0 setback to Accra Lions, a rival team in the city.

Ever since they were promoted to the elite division prior to the 2021–2022 season, Lions have not defeated Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.

“Accra Hearts of Oak has a long history of resilience and success, and we are committed to upholding the rich heritage of our club. We value the support and dedication of all out supporters and stakeholders, and assure you that every effort is being made to overcome this challenge” a section of the statement read.

The Rainbow lads face off against Berekum On Wednesday, May 8, Chelsea will play the next game at Golden City Park in Berekum.
