Black Stars winger, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, has been officially named Leicester City’s Men’s Young Player of the Season.
The Ghanaian, who is on loan from Sporting Lisbon this season, won over the Foxes supporters with his seven goals and thirteen assists so far in 2023–24.
As rumors about the former Steadfast FC player’s potential stay at Leicester City after his loan deal expires persist, he accepted the award while sporting a traditional Ghanaian outfit.
There are reportedly plans to sign him permanently from Sporting for €17 million. Issahaku’s noteworthy contributions helped Leicester City win the Championship and get promoted to the English Premier League automatically.
