The National Communications Authority (NCA) has given Space X Starlink GH LTD, the company that operates Starlink Satellite Broadband, permission to offer satellite broadband services in Ghana, which is a big step forward for the nation’s telecom scene.
Following the Ministry of Communications and Digitalization’s approval of Ghana’s Satellite Licensing Framework, the NCA’s decision, which was announced in an official statement on April 25, represents a critical turning point.
“The administrative processes towards the issuance of the license is ongoing and will be completed shortly,” the statement added.
