Accra Hearts of Oak have disbanded its board of directors.

A statement from the club says, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe, Alhaji Moro Braimah (Akanbi), and Vincent Odotei Sowah will no longer be part of the club’s operations.

The decision comes shortly after a section of the supporters went on demonstration against the board.

It also brings to an the Togbui Afede’s 12-year stewardship as leader of the board.
 

It is not clear yet when or who will be part of a new board.
 

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Hearts has been delayed for March after originally being set for February.

Hearts have won one league title, two FA Cup titles, and one FA Super Cup trophy during the Phobia’s twelve years of supervision by the now-dissolved Board.
