Chris Hughton, head coach of the Black Stars, has released the preliminary roster for the 2023 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.

A total of 55 players, including 11 domestic players, five of whom are from Medeama SC, the winners of the Ghana Premier League.

Group B contains Ghana, Egypt, Mozambique, and Cape Verde.

The dates of the Africa Cup of Nations Cote d’Ivoire 2023 are set for Saturday, January 13, through Sunday, February 11, 2024.

Numerous players from the Qatar 2022 World Cup, where the Black Stars were eliminated early after winning just one of their three games, are prominently included in the squad.
