Asante Kotoko defeated Berekum Chelsea 1-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Steven Mukwala gave the Porcupine Warriors the lead in the 41st minute as they were cheered on by the home crowd.

The forward scored the game-winning goal after some exquisite teamwork. The build-up was initiated by Richmond Lamptey in midfield, who passed the ball through to Isaac Oppong before Dese Mukwala scored.

Asante Kotoko has now won three straight Premier League games after defeating Legon Cities and Medeama SC in their previous two encounters.
