The Black Queens annihilated Rwanda 12-0 aggregate victory to advance to the second round of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Tuesday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Lass left no chance for the Rwandans, after beating them 7-0 at home in the first leg in Kigali. The Ghanaians continued where they left off, compounding the woes of the visitors with a 5-0 score in-front of their fans.

A hat-trick from Alice Kusi in the 22nd, 26th and 37th minutes put the Queens in a comfortable position before Evelyn Badu increased the tally with the 4th goal in the 42nd minute.

Stella Nyamekye added the 5th goal in additional time to give Nora Hauptle’s side a rampaging victory against the visitors.

Coach Nora Hauptle’s lass will face Namibia in the final round of qualifiers in November this year as they fight for a spot at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
