FIFA Women’s Rankings: Ghana placed 59th

Ghana’s Senior Female side, the Black Queens are ranked the 5th in Africa 59th on the latest ranking of women’s national teams was released by FIFA on Monday.

The Lass are also behind Nigeria, South Africa, Cameroon and Morocco in the Top 15 African Teams in latest FIFA Rankings.

Women’s World Cup debutants, Morocco, made the biggest jump from 78 to 58th, moving 14 places up.

The second biggest climb in the rankings is South Africa. Banyana Banyana are now 45th on the standings, moving an impressive 9 positions.

Nigeria remains the top-ranked African nation. The Super Falcons are just outside of the top 30 (32nd), having moved 8 places up.

FIFA Women’s World Cup bronze-medalists, Sweden are now the top-ranked nation.
